Sad Magdelina
Sad Magdelina
I can't pretend
Not to notice her
She gazes down with
foreign eyes
Pools of beauty that
brighten her face by
their darkness
But melancholy
Shows through
Distributed with
a subtle consciousness
throughout her being
yet when she smiles
it is true beauty
As Magdelina
sits silently
I try to hear the
the music in my head
And try to understand
how she could not see
What is so
evident to me.
